ZIPTRAK® INTERIOR

MANUAL OR MOTORISED - HOW TO CHOOSE?

We say, start by asking yourself a couple of questions starting with Who and How?

WHO?

Who will be operating the blinds?

Ziptrak® Interior manual blinds are very easy to operate and can be left at any height. If you prefer to leave the blind retracted, at a height beyond your reach, you can use the pull stick provided, to lower the blind. If you have users who may find operating a manual blind challenging, such as the elderly or mobility-impaired individuals, you may want to select the motorised option, which comes with a remote control.

HOW?

HOW WILL YOU BE CONFIGURING YOUR HOME?

Next generation smart home, or simple and fuss-free? We suggest matching the blinds to your vision for your home. If you’re already integrating smart lighting and home appliances to create an intelligent space, there’s no reason why your blind can’t be part of that ecosystem too! Ziptrak® Interior blinds with motorisation can be integrated with smart home systems, or controlled by your mobile phone, with the addition of a wifi bridge. But if you’re the type that prefers the reliability of non-motorised fixtures, definitely choose manual blinds.

HOW MANY BLINDS WILL THERE BE IN A SINGLE SPACE?

Operating a single-blind manually is the quickest and most fuss-free option there is. But if you’re going to have more than 3 blinds in a single space, you might prefer the convenience of the motorised option.

HOW OFTEN WILL YOU BE OPERATING THE BLINDS?

If you’re not going to be operating the blinds often (you intend to leave them up or down most of the time), it will be more cost effective to select manual blinds. Manual blinds also requires less maintenance over the long run.

* Note: Blinds with fabric outside the VentiMesh™ series should be fully retracted when the windows are open to avoid wind damage.
